The License Protection Handbook

Your Key To Compliance

IMG_ 3072 15%.jpg

The License Protection Handbook is designed for the pharmacist-in-charge and/or the owner of the pharmacy. During an untimely inspection, this License Protection Handbook is handed to the Board of Pharmacy inspector to assist the inspector who is conducting the inspection. Not only does it assist during the inspection since it contains relevant pharmacy documents (i.e. – Pharmacy Self-Assessment(s), Controlled Substance Inventories, etc.), but the License Protection Handbook is also used as a resource to prepare you prior to that untimely inspection. Any written resource becomes outdated once it is printed. With the License Protection Handbook, you will be emailed with replacement pages whenever the Board of Pharmacy implements new laws or regulations. Therefore, this important recourse never becomes outdated.

The License Protection Handbook itself has useful information to assist the pharmacist-in-charge in keeping the pharmacy stay compliant. Most important, the License Protection Handbook contains a self-inspection checklist of over 60 pharmacy operations that the inspector will investigate during the inspection. Utilizing this list and fixing any areas of non-compliance before the inspector conducts the inspection is like having the answers to a test before the test is administered.

Inspector Dan Newsletter

Consultations or Questions: A valuable feature offered in every membership is the audit consultation service. License Protection Service’s pharmacist/attorney president, Dr. Sydejko, will communicate with you by phone or email for any pharmacy operational questions that you may have as they relate to pharmacy compliance. Questions presented will be responded to in a timely manner, and may require an in-depth communication with the pharmacist and/or the owner to resolve the issue or question. In the event the matter requires legal representation, Dr. Sydejko will then discuss with you your many options to help resolve the matter.

Newsletter: Inspector Michael Dan is a California State Board of Pharmacy inspector, and is notorious for visiting pharmacies in your local area. The Inspector Dan Newsletter depicts a “real-life” experience of a Board of Pharmacy inspection. This newsletter is included in all 3 membership levels.

“Whenever I have asked Jeb a question, he has responded promptly and with an action plan to address the problem. Before I met Jeb, I was always worried about whether I was compliant with the requirements of the various regulatory pharmacy bodies. Now, after receiving the License Protection Handbook, I know exactly what the various inspectors require. The handbook is very precise and easy to use. Jeb and LPS have changed my pharmacy working conditions for the better.”
